Customer Memory Campaigns

Customer Memory Campaigns

Your longtime customers already remember you.

I find the memories your community attaches to your business, like the old sign out front, the corner booth, the Friday special, and I turn them into 30 days of posts and emails you can actually send.

Fifteen minutes on the phone with me. No slide deck, no payment details. If it is not a fit, I will say so on the call.

A real post from a memory campaign, not a mockup.

If you have been in business a decade or more, you know this feeling.

The new place gets all the attention

They have been open eight months. You have been here twenty two years. Somehow they are the ones everybody is posting about.

Posting feels like shouting into a void

You post when you remember to. Three likes, one from your cousin. So you stop for a month, then start again.

Agencies quote you $3,000 a month

For brand strategy, from people who have never set foot in your town and cannot name a single one of your regulars.

Here is what they all miss. You have the one thing a new competitor cannot buy. People already remember you.

Joquita Blanco, 80s Baby

A note from me

Hi, I am Joquita.

I grew up around places where the same family ran the same shop for thirty years, and everybody in town had a story about it. I have spent the last few years writing about exactly that at 80s Baby. The lunchboxes, the corner stores, the songs that were playing when something good happened.

Then I noticed something. The businesses that have been around the longest are usually the quietest online, and they are sitting on the richest material in town. That is the whole reason this service exists.

You will work with me directly. No account manager, and no handoff to somebody you have never met.

Three ways to work together

Start small, or hand the whole thing over.

Every option is a fixed price with a written scope. Nothing is charged until you have read that scope and signed it.

“Be honest, whose lunchbox was this? We have been making the same ham and cheese since 1987, and half of you learned to like it in third grade. Tell us the one thing you would still eat today.”

Questions people ask me first

When do I pay?+

Not on this page, and not on the call. After we talk I send you the scope in writing. If you agree to it, you get a payment link for that exact amount. Nothing before that.

What if I do not know which option I need?+

That is most people, and it is what the call is for. Tell me what you want out of the next few months and I will tell you which one fits, including if the honest answer is none of them yet.

Do you post to my accounts?+

No. I do not need your passwords and I do not want them. Everything arrives finished and ready, and you or your team hit publish.

Can I send you my own photos and stories?+

Please do. Old photos, menus, printed ads, the story about the flood in 2004. The more you hand over, the more the campaign sounds like your business instead of a template.

How long does it take?+

The audit takes about a week. A full campaign takes two to three, depending on how quickly I get your materials. Exact dates go in the written scope before you pay anything.

Let us spend fifteen minutes on your history.

Leave your details and I will send you a few times that work. If what you need is not something I do, I will say so and point you somewhere better.

  • Free, and there is no pitch deck
  • No payment details collected
  • You hear back from me within two business days
  • You talk to me, not a sales team

Not ready to talk yet?

Once a month I send one memory prompt you can post yourself. It is free, and it takes about ten minutes to use.
